Let’s Put Some Confidence Back Into that Smile

Cosmetic

White Restorations

The use of traditional amalgam (silver) fillings is controversial and it has been argued that they could pose negative implications for your health. Therefore, in our practice we use only white fillings to restore your teeth to their former beauty and strength.

A white filling matches the colour of your tooth and is made from a plastic and glass mixture. These fillings can be used either on the front or back teeth. These fillings chemically bond to the natural teeth without causing any chemical damage. The strength and durability of the composite resins are constantly improving to withstand moderate pressure and stress caused by chewing.

It is the ideal choice for a more natural look, because it mimics the appearance of the tooth structure and can improve the aesthetics. It can also be used to close gaps between your teeth (diastemata) and improve fractured teeth.

Prosthetics

Dentures should be the last resort for the replacement of natural teeth when extensive work cannot be done anymore. Some of the advantages of dentures include that it restores your speech, improves your ability to chew and provides support to the cheeks and facial muscle tissue.

We, as an experienced dental practice, will ensure that you will have a natural smile and a denture that is comfortable.

Advantages of Dentures

  • Dentures restore your speech.
  • Gives a better chewing ability.
  • Provides support to the cheeks and facial muscle tissue.
  • It improves the natural appearance.
  • Maintains the overall health.

Crowns and Bridges

Crowns and bridges are fixed prosthetic devices. Unlike removable devices, such as dentures, which can be removed and cleaned daily, crowns and bridges are cemented into position and can only be removed by a dentist.

Implants

Implants are great for most people who have one or more missing teeth. They are the closest possible replacement to permanent teeth, because they feel and look like your own teeth.

Porcelain Veneers

Can be used for several purposes such as to protect the tooth’s surface from damage, to close the spaces between teeth (diastemata), to lengthen teeth that have been shortened by wear, to strengthen worn teeth and to correct malfunctioned teeth that appear cracked.

Inlays and Onlays

Inlays and onlays can be used instead of traditional fillings. A traditional filling is molded into position within your mouth during your dental visit, whereas inlays and onlays are fabricated before they are fitted to a cavity in a tooth and cemented into position.

Onlays are similar to inlays, but it covers a larger area as it includes a replacement for the cusps of the tooth.

Teeth Whitening

Smoking, food and drink can stain our teeth. Fortunately, teeth whitening can restore whiteness to our natural teeth.

Dental bleaching is a common procedure in dentistry and there are different methods available. The oxidizing agent penetrates the porosities in the structure of the enamel and breaks down the stains in the dentin. Power bleaching uses light to speed up the process of bleaching in the comfort of the dental chair.

Botox

Botox is a very popular and simple procedure. It is carefully injected into your facial muscles. The areas that are typically injected are the forehead, the areas between the eyes and around the corners of the eyes (known as crow’s feet) and the area around the lips.

The effect is that the skin becomes smoother and wrinkles and fine lines are reduced. The results usually last between three to four months.
